Biography

Marlena Brinkley is an American soprano based in Charlotte, North Carolina, whose voice unites bel canto line with Verdian weight and a fearless upper register. Her recent engagements include the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor and Königin der Nacht in Die Zauberflöte, performed in Italy and the United States. As a concert and oratorio soloist, she has appeared in Händel's Messiah and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Requiem. Her repertoire spans Mozart, bel canto, Verdi, Puccini, and the German repertoire. Brinkley is available for opera, concert, and oratorio engagements throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.
